Heart of Cabi event at Metropolitan's North Center

"Heart of Cabi" event provides an empowering afternoon at our North Center

North Center and North Children’s Center once again hosted the Heart of Cabi event, and participants were treated to a wonderful and empowering afternoon — put together by staff and clothing stylists from Cabi, the online clothing company. Each participant met with a stylist to choose their own clothing, and received jewelry and self-care items.

S.T.E.A.M. Night at one of our Southeast Chicago Center's Community Schools engages families in fun and learning

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) skills are necessary to achieve college and career goals – just one reason for an Earth Day-themed Family Fun S.T.E.A.M. Night for families at Gallistel Language Academy! 

“Parents were wonderful supporting their children by picking up materials and engaging with their students in the activities of the event,” shared Irma Saldana, Resource Coordinator for our Community Schools program at Gallistel.
